Why we’re fans: Erin is a celiac rockstar. Not only does she blog at Gluten-Free Fun, but she also runs the New York City Celiac Disease Meetup Group, hosts fundraising events, and just launched ANOTHER blog called Gluten-Free Globetrotter. We don’t know where she finds the time, but we do know that when there’s a message for the celiac community, we can count on Erin to spread the word.
Erin’s Story: I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1981 and started my blog in January 2007. Sharing information about celiac disease and the gluten-free lifestyle, both online and in person, has become my passion over the past few years.
According to Erin: The most unexpected part about being gluten-free was finding out my sister also had celiac almost 25 years after my diagnosis. Growing up, I knew no one with celiac disease, but then the person closest to me ended up having it too. If I have to “share” this diagnosis with anyone, it would be her!
