Why we’re fans: Michael is NFCA’s local celiac awareness champion. He blogs about anything and everything gluten-free in the Philadelphia region – restaurants, bakeries, events – plus new products that are often available across the US. On top of that, he helps NFCA at the drop of a hat, whether it’s posting information about our upcoming events or speaking alongside Alice Bast at a support group meeting. Quite simply, Michael is awesome.
Michael’s Story: Our 10-year-old has celiac disease, and I wanted to share my knowledge and be an advocate for celiac awareness in the Philadelphia area.
According to Michael: Most unexpectedly, our son has easily adapted to a gluten-free diet and has embraced it rather than see it as a challenge.
